Instructions for Preparing IJCNN 2011 Oral Presentations

  • Unless otherwise indicated in the program, each oral presentation will be given a 20-minute time slot. This includes time for introduction and questions. Authors should limit their speaking time to no more than 15 - 17 minutes.
  • The presentation room will provide a data projector, but laptops will NOT be provided. Presenters should plan to bring their own laptops with their talks pre-loaded. In addition, it is strongly recommended that presenters also bring their talks with them on a USB drive, in case the presenter's laptop fails to work.
  • Presenters should make sure that they are aware of their presentation time(s), rooms and session chairs before they arrive at IJCNN.
  • After arrival, presenters should make an attempt to connect with their session chair at the earliest opportunity - and certainly before the beginning of the session. Any pertinent information regarding change of presenter, etc., should be communicated to the session chair at this time.
  • Presenters should arrive at their session a few minutes before the session starts and check that their laptop works satisfactorily with the audiovisual system provided. If not, they should let the session chair know immediately.
